Turkey
Turkey has now secured its place as one of the great golfing destinations in Europe. The main resort area of Belek is only 40 minutes from Antalya, and flights are available from most major UK airports. The golf courses are many and varied, popular parkland courses, with tree lined fairways, heathland courses and even a magnificent links course at Lykia. The hotels are all very well run, mostly five star with great restaurants and very friendly and attentive staff. Car hire is not required as the hotels have transfers to the golf courses, and most are within a ten minute journey. The “all inclusive” option is popular with golfers, all meals and drinks are included, which means planning your budget is really easy and the overall cost of your holiday is often much less than other resorts.
