Palmares
Palmares is best known and loved for its links and parkland mix, and its fabulous views of the Algarve coastline, now, after being closed for over a year, it has been transformed into an even better golfing experiience.
It will be eventually a 27 hole complex, with a hotel and a real estate development, but for the moment there are 18 fantastic holes in play.
The course is still a mix of parkland and links, the new 9 will all be on the beach, but there are still fantastic views, and the course is in great shape. Robert Trent Jones Junior has managed the project, and it is one of his best yet.
