Praia Sol
This friendly three star hotel is fast becoming our most popular hotel in Vilamoura.
The hotel was opened from new in 2007, it is only minutes from the marina in Vilamoura, and close to the traditional town of Quateira.
There are only 40 bedrooms, there is a bar and lounge area, which has large screen tv's and has the main sports channels, the restaurant is small, though airey, breakfast is a mix of continental and cooked, and perfect for golfers.
Most golfers miss out on the fantastic fish restaurants and local bars in Quateira, Praia Sol is a perfect base, and the prices in Quateira are half that of Vilamoura!
There is courtesy transport to the Vilamoura courses and Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo courses offer the same facility, which has to be booked in advance.
