Lagos
Lagos is the largest town on the Western Algarve, it is a bustling commercial centre during the day, and most of the shops and restaurants stay open all year round which is good news for golfer.
The centre of town is made up of cobbled streets, which house many local shops and restaurants, being a fishing port there are plenty of seafood restaurants to choose from, and traditional Algarvian cuisine is always on the menu.Golfers enjoy this resort, mainly because Boavista and Palmares Couses are reached within 10 minutes, and close by are Parque da Floresta and Penina both within a 20 minute drive. The other courses on the Western Algarve are also easily reached, and the green fees in this area are generally reasonably priced.
