The golf course at Mar Menor Golf & Resort is designed around the five-star Intercontinental Mar Menor hotel and The Residences Mar Menor four-star apartments.
Guests staying in the accommodation can walk to the practice areas and the first tee in minutes while enjoying fantastic views of the golf course and surrounding landscape. The original nine holes here were designed by Dave Thomas and feature many of his hallmarks – tighter fairways and large bunkers protecting the greens. The second nine-hole loop was added by Nicklaus Design and it features wider fairways with large lakes in play on a number of holes. The practice facilities here are excellent and there is even a par four practice hole.
