Dom Pedro’s Old Course Golf Club lies in the heart of Vilamoura and was opened in 1967, as Vilamoura 1. It remains one of the finest golf courses on The Algarve.
The main feature of the Frank Pennink-designed 6,254-metre course is the old Cork trees which the fairways meander through. You will also find many undulating fairways and raised greens which create a memorable, if challenging, test.
A modernisation programme preserved the challenge of this magnificent layout for future generations and raised the quality of The Old Course Golf Club to new heights, while an attractive new single-storey clubhouse and putting green were added overlooking the putting green as well as the first tee, and ninth and 18th greens.
