Dom Pedro’s Pinhal Golf Course, originally the Vilamoura 2 course, opened in 1976 and provides a challenging layout set among tall Umbrella and Atlantic pines with some of the finest green complexes on The Algarve.

The Frank Pennink design, which was refined in 1985 by Robert Trent Jones Sr, can be stretched to 6,353 metres, though a number of tees are available. You will find undulating parkland with many fairways lined by pine trees here, though golfers will be pleased to learn that the ponds and stream which come into play on five holes should not, for the most part, present a serious threat.

An excellent clubhouse affords stunning panoramic views which extend over the excellent driving range and practice facilities, and beyond. Its veranda offers the perfect setting for post-round relaxation.
