The Quinta da Marinha Golf Course in Cascais was designed by Robert Trent Jones and opened in 1984.
The course, which bears the hallmarks of Trent’s deigns around the world – raised tee boxes and greens, wide fairways with large bunkers – has a par of 71 and aims to challenge players to use their imagination and every club in their bag.
There some tremendous par threes here, played over ravines and lakes, while the views of the Atlantic Ocean and Sintra Mountains are unforgettable.
