The Ocean Course at Vale do Lobo was designed by Sir Henry Cotton and was opened as an 18-hole layout in 1995 having previously been played as two nine-hole courses.
The front nine is laid out in the typical Algarvian style with rolling fairways lined by pine trees.
The back nine is played alongside the ocean, providing stunning views and an array of golfing conditions – the wind can blow in almost any direction and the closeness to the beach can be intimidating for some.
The all-round luxury golf experience continues into the clubhouse, where family and friends are welcome.
The Vale do Lobo Golf Club offers a full complement of services – including a golf shop; a Golf Academy with two practice areas; rental clubs, buggies and trolleys; changing facilities and lockers.
