Macdonald Linden Hall is set in 450 aces of stunning Northumberland countryside, dating back to 1812 this original manor house is an ideal golf and spa break. The original building has the reception and the renown Dobson Restaurant, famed for it’s meat and locally sourced fish dishes, also used for breakfast, this old drawing room is in an ideal setting overlooking the manicured lawns and golf course. The spa and some bedrooms are in the same building, and The Linden Pub, popular with golfers, is in the adjacent building and has it’s own conservatory restaurant and also has an extensive bar menu.

The Championship golf course measures 6846 yards from the back tees and has a varied selection of golf holes. This parkland course has wide fairways on the par 4’s and 5’s, and with water in play on 9 holes, it makes for a memorable round. Some fantastic scenery, Cheviot Hills and the Northumberland Coast, and local wildlife including deer, red squirrels and birds of prey, Linden Hall is one of the best courses in Northumberland.
