Macdonald Linden Hall is set in 450 aces of stunning Northumberland countryside and this early 19th Century manor house is an ideal location for a golf and spa break.

The original building is home to reception and the renown Dobson Restaurant – famed for it’s meat and locally sourced fish dishes and overlooking the manicured lawns and golf course. The spa and some bedrooms are here too while The Linden Pub, popular with golfers after their rounds, is in the adjacent building and has its own conservatory restaurant and an extensive bar menu.

The championship golf course at Linden Hall measures 6,846 yards from the back tees and brings together challenging holes and a number of birdie opportunities. This parkland course has many generous fairways and is set in ancient woodland with water in play on nine holes. The scenery here is stunning with views stretching as far as the Cheviot Hills and the Northumberland Coast on a clear day, while local wildlife including deer, red squirrels and birds of prey call the grounds home.
